Kakheti – Credle of Wine, eastern part of Georgia, 90 min. drive from Tbilisi.
This region is main wine producer of the country. The history of wine in the Kakheti region can be traced back to the sixth millennium BC. Wine has been produced using the unique and traditional style of Qvevri – clay pots submerged into the ground which are used to ferment and create delicious, unfiltered, organic wines.

– Drive to Signagi – City of Love, a small, beautiful town perched on top of a hill, it is enclosed by a long, spectacular, defensive wall built by King Erekle II in the second half of the 18th century. Each of the wall’s 23 towers are named after a nearby village and served as a refuge for the whole community. The town offers splendid views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus mountain range. There is 24 hour 7 days a week service of marriage. Many locals and foreigners are getting married there.
– Visit Gremi monastery complex built by King Levan in XVI century. It was one of the most important trading and economic centers of the Feudal Era.
